Sorry I haven't said a word in a long, long while. School has been really busy. And uh, sorry I haven't been on XFire ^_^; I warned ya about me and stuff like that and MSN messenger, right? I just never log on, not sure why.
I had an idea the other day when playing Wii at a friend's house. I noticed a lot of their downloadable games (Defend Your Castle, World of Goo) were actually internet Flash games that somehow got way more powerful versions made for the Wii. Although this probably wouldn't happen with Goziy, my idea is we could simulate the game in a Flash game. We talked about simulating some of the stuff for the game in Flash, but I think we should make a more full game in Flash both to test and to show off. It would probably be just a single player game with simple graphics. Development could go one step at a time, like starting with the GUI, controls, and slowly work our way to say, one leveling map and a town. That should allow us to have a better idea of what we're going to do.
Oh yeah, and a I have a few friends here at college who are going into video game programming, and they're pretty good. It's more likely they'll work for Google or Blizzard, but that means if we can come up with a really complete idea we'll have a foot in the door (man I hate that phrase) to get some help from a big established company, since we know someone on the inside
